ReplyDeleteNo. I think it is a great idea to see what the person’s behavior is and some of their personal stuff. There are ways such as not having a Facebook or blocking it so no one else can see what you’re doing.

Not much. It showed where we lived and her Facebook page that she briefly uses. Advantage- people can find out better info about my parents. Disadvantage- there could be a robber ready to rob our house and finding out where we live.
I have not given it much thought
ReplyDeleteI feel confident about people checking my face book
I don't know any ways to protect myself
I could'nt find my parent because there was 10 pages of people with their names.

ReplyDelete2. A) I have not given much thought on what tracks I leave on the Internet.
B) I do not have anything bad on my Facebook so I think it is good that employers check social sites such as Facebook before hiring.
C) You can limit and protect yourself without being a hermit by making your profile on Facebook private. You can also set all your settings on any email, social networking site, etc. to private.
3. The information that I found about my dad that was accurate was the Airport Community Schools website, where he is listed as the superintendent. The information that I found about my dad that was not accurate was a John Lewis Krimmel on Wikipedia, and a youtube John Krimmel. The advantages of having all this information so fast is that you can do research projects with it and it could help with businesses. The disadvantages of having all this information so fast is that creepy people can find your information easily and it might not be accurate sometimes.

1. I have never given a thought to what tracks I leave.
ReplyDelete2. I don’t mind it because I don’t post bad things on there.
3. I do not know what a hermit is so I cannot answer that question.
I searched my mother and it showed the correct age, relationship status, and her gender. I was surprised that it showed her personal information. Some of the advantages of this is that you can be found and recognized by people. A disadvantage is that people can find out your personal information which is bad for if you are high up in the political ranks; the terrorists could fine you.

I don't really think about what tracks I have left
ReplyDeleteI care a little but because sometimes I am not a respectful person online.
I cant answer because i dont know ehat a hemit is
I searched my mom's name on google, and her Facebook page came up. This really did not surprise me, because it's like that whenever you google someone. Usually either a business thing pops up or a facebook/myspace.
Advantages are that you can receive news updates much faster, but sometimes it can be completely irrelevant.
